Pavel started as an idea back in 1983. Tired of my buddy’s dreams of building boards, I put this into action. The first boards were so successful that after a short time I was supplying the larger skate shops as a local skateboard builder. In my first workshop I built boards continuously, every day, and just six months later I was supplying Titus in Germany. PavelSkates, born in the legendary Düsseldorf slaughterhouse, was the sponsor of Anders Puplanek, Marc Lorenz, Martin Wagner and various others.
